| It was quite empty on the Motorway into work this
morning so I decided to floor the car top down. I just about reached
top speed when I was rather surprised so see a bit of paper fly
past my head. Turned out it was my Tax disk! So, it might be worth
checking that it's well stuck to the windscreen before you get the
roof down a lot this summer. It's a tenner to get a replacement
:( (3/00) |
| I always stick a piece of sellotape across the top of my tax disc
holder to make our light-fingered friends think twice about pinching
it. Also stops it flying out too! (3/00) |
| There is an alloy tax disk holder in the Demon
Tweeks 2000 Performance & Tuning Catalogue on page 124 which
should not only help keep the tax disk in the car with the hood
down but also deter thieves from removing it. (3/00) |
| Useful for those who park with the hood down......... http://www.secur-i-disc.co.uk/

| Has anyone had their disc stolen? If it does happen, can you
get a replacement for free? (4/00) |
| A few years ago I had my Tax Disc stolen from my old BX GT whilst
the window was down. At the time a replacement disc cost £5 and
the form to apply for it came from the Post Office. (4/00) |
| I have one of these... http://www.richbrook.co.uk/new_prods.html
Very nice, but probably a bigger target because of it :( (6/00) |
