I am aware I will needed colder spark plugs [with my supercharger] can those in the know name them for me? (12/99)

Taken from the Mx5 Performance Handbook... For forced induction recommend the following cooler spark plugs: NGK BKR5Ej-11, Bosch FR7DCX, Champion RC9YC4. (12/99)

Can't beat the stock NGK ones. Can't remember the gap off the top of my head, but it is listed in the instructions, and is very slightly wider than for a NA engine. Get new leads if you've got more or near 30k miles on the last set. Again, NGK are fine. (12/99)

Narrower gaps under forced induction .. not wider... unless you have an ECU that can boost the spark through software :-) .. (threw that one in to confuse most of you!!) (12/99)

And guess what .. the NGK plug is hotter... The man strikes again (That author!).... stick with stock plugs! (12/99)
