Last time I was near a Mazda Garage I bought 3 of the sump washers for the forthcoming oil change. I took my car to a local garage for an oil change. They swapped the oil but told me that the washer I had given was the wrong size......could they have given me 1.8 washers instead of the 1.6 ones? could someone measure the diameter from edge to edge if they have one handy? Am I right in thinking the sump washer should be a copper one, only when I changed the oil last time the washer was made of fiber & I replaced it with a similar one. (3/00)
