On mine you loosen the bolt that goes through the power steering
pump, loosen another bolt on the idler pulley assembly (the one
that locks the pillow block in position) and then you use the
long bolt to wind the power steering pump away from the block.
If I've had the odd mistake in this description I apologise. But
this is because I put it together so it looked right, tightened
everything up, and then forced the belt past the idler with two
thumbs and one grunt! It's been fine ever since.
If yours is loose you'll be losing boost and wearing the belt.
Check your alignment carefully (lots about this on the sscor list
lately) at the same time. (1/00)
