I've just got a copy of STHT that tells you which relay to pull to stop the poppers when just on sidelights, but it doesn't tell you where they are! Please can someone let me know where they are? (1/00)

Lift the bonnet and the relay is IIRC just behind the near side front wheel under a black cover. From experience it's easier to remove the cover with a socket to do the job. Sounds a silly thing to say but you'll see what I mean. Can't remember which relay it is but I think the bigger one. (1/00)

The connectors are in a block bolted to the inner near side wing. The black cover removes easily but, as Angus alludes to, you are better to actually remove the block from the wing (after removing the cover by hand). The connector you want is (usually) the flat white one. Check everything afterwards to make sure you have the right connector and that everything else works properly. (1/00)
