Anyone got any views on the usefulness and attractiveness of the OE mudguards on a Mk2 Also what should I be paying for them? (11/99)

I just recently got some fitted to my black mk2 and it takes a fair bit longer before the muck really shows, so I guess that means they work. I like the look of them too; they seem to make the body wrap round the wheels better. They cost me 100 quid all in including fitting. I asked about side skirts at the time too, but almost fell over when I got a figure approaching 1500 quid. The servicing manager there said he didn't recommend the add on skirts anyway as they get easily damaged. Also this was with the special offer; I think they're that price normally but you'll be adding labour on that. (11/99)

Where can I buy a set of unpainted front mudguards from ?? Are there any suppliers people have used other than dealers ?? (2/00)

When I bought mine it was cheaper to buy coloured from Mazda than to buy unpainted from other sources. (2/00)
