I have managed to track down an insurance company that will insure me for a reasonable amount if I fit a Cat 2 immobiliser. I thought of the Clifford Virtual Key £130 fitted. However would I be better getting a cat 2 alarm. bearing in mind I would like central locking to be fitted to my car? Or can I upgrade from the Immobiliser at a later date??? (11/99)
I thought the '5 came with a factory fit CAT2 immobiliser anyway, mine did (confirmed in writing by Oxford Mazda as requested by my insurance broker). (11/99)
But not Roadsters! They don't have car crime in Japan! (Hardly) (11/99)
