| From my speaker activity I find that the door cards
are knack'd at the bottom (rainwater and lack of removal "sympathy"...er...by
previous owner). The "cardboard" has had it around most of those
funny trim plugs. Is there a recognised fix or is it a trip to the
breakers job? (8/00) |
| Breakers price; £25 each. I have a set from my 91 Roadster (the
style that had a seperate pop-off cover for the speakers). They're
ok...except for 2 holes drilled on each (stainless steel S-Spec
grills had been fitted on). If you are handy with a Black and Decker
Jigsaw, you could cut out new door cars from thin hardboard, and
reinstall the vinyl covering from your originals (staple/glue down).
The shaped top part easily transfers over. (8/00) |
| You could try and rebuild the hard-board .. but too much glue
etc really .. only thing to be aware of that you have an early car
with full arm rests while the later ones are like mine with a single
bar grip at the front.. but they are compatible if you get the complete
pairs with the external furniture (grips etc) .. and the later ones
have useless map pockets .. but nowhere for your elbow... (8/00) |
