| My current thinking is using TurboLites or similar to darken
the rear lenses and the side repeaters. I don't want them fully
black, just tinted to take off the brightness of the plastic and
make them blend into the car more. Has anyone done this already
and do you think I'd need to change the bulbs? As I said before,
not 90% dark, just about 25%. I think it'd look cool on a black
car. (12/99) |
| Yes it would look very "cool", I've considered using the black
out spray from Demon Tweeks to cover the rear clusters but not sure
about the finished appearance so I was hoping someone else would
do it first (just in case I couldn't get it off again !). Not sure
now as anything that seems to be deemed "boy racerish" seems to
be frowned upon these days, I've got nothing against people who
drive maxed up Novas and the like, they enjoy it, fine by me. As
long as they don't drive like idiots. I find most of them quite
interesting if you get talking, and they are always interested in
the MX-5 that drowns out their stereo !! (12/99) |
