| When I use my cruise control, it always takes about
a second before it reacts. I mean, I drive to a certain speed, say
80, turn the lever to activate the cruise control and take my foot
of the throttle. When I do that, speed drops and only after about
one second the cruise control reacts and speed goes up to 80 again.
Is this normal operation? If not, how do I adjust this? The car
has always done it like this, but I just bought a new car (no mazda)
and that one doesn't drop speed when activating the cruise control...it
just keeps on going like one would expect...much better. (4/00) |
| .. one is clockwork/mechanical (Mazda) from 10 year old technology
.. with vacuum reservoirs etc .. bound to be 'clunky' .. the other
is electronic speed control (4/00) |
| Mine does the same if I recall, don't use it that much. Shame
on you for not buying a Mazda :-) at least it also starts with M
;-) (3/00) |
