| My 92 roadster has an a weird sound when going
over a bumps. Almost like two irons hitting each other from below
the rear parcel shelf.. I have checked all the usual items battery
firm..jack firm exhaust not hitting..any other ideas..are there
any hood irons that could do this? the hood is new and up. (1/00) |
| I had a metalic clonking(only over bumps) coming from under the
passenger seat:- turned out to be some small diameter tubing(under
the bonnet) knocking against the engine bulkhead. (1/00) |
| That's almost certainly what it is. There are 2 torsion bars which
hold the boot open, if they get out of alignment they knock against
each other. Judicious use of brute force cured mine. (1/00) |
