I have a grey import 1998 mk11 MX5 Roadster. It is fitted with a very impressive Bose Navigation Centre ( cd, tape, radio.tv & nav unit) . I can't get the nav or tv to respond, probably needs different chip-software. on screen prompts are in Japanese. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of these units. (12/99)

Jap Tv is NTSC so it won't receive UK Pal broadcasts. Sat system is probably completely baffled as it still thinks it's in Japan. :-) (12/99)

It will know where it is but won't have maps for anything other than Japan. I suppose the main question is "Do Bose sell this thing anywhere else and can it be upgraded?" Does anyone know anywhere else other than Japan that allows the driver to watch TV as he drives?! (12/99)
